Cheering on Spring Sports
We may not all be in the game anymore, but cheering on a team is something that never gets old! Watching a local high school track and field meet, signing up your kids for YMCA soccer, or checking out Omaha’s newest Pro Volleyball League are all great ways to share the spirit of hard work and team mentality.
Omaha has some great local sports to catch before the summer season. Here’s a list of local high school teams and other sports events in our community. Get out there while the sun is shining and you’re looking for something fun to do!
The main spring sports for high schools include: baseball, softball, golf, soccer, track and field, and tennis. Here is a list of Omaha Metro High Schools. You can check out the website for the high school nearest to you, or look at the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) for a comprehensive schedule.
